Just purchased a new Canadian made fuel tank for my 69. A couple of old timers were suggesting taking the tank to a radiator shop and having it sealed. Their friend who owns a radiator shop quoted $100 to have it sealed. Not sure if it is worth it or not...any thoughts?

If the tank is new and you keep water out of it, it should be good for your life time. I still have my factory tank. Beware of the compatibility of some of these sealers when using an alternative fuel. Thats why some of the newer tanks are plastic as well as fuel lines.
