i have a 68 camaro wit 15" rally wheels. I noticed rear tires spins with a wobble (not even) front drivers side as well. The rear axle appears to spin true. Could the wheels be warpped or the brake drums?
anyone?
thanks

Paul, it could be the wheel or the tire. Look for high spots in the tire.....you could probably remove the wheel and tire and take it to a tire shop where they could check if it is out of round. Also ensure the wheel is mounting up securely to the hub. Just a thought.....since two of them are wobbling, it sounds more like a tire problem, if they are the same brand. Good luck!

Rear tires(s)? and driver's side front?
Did I read this correctly you have 3 wheels with problems?
I'd take them to a tire shop and have them checked. How long have the tires been mounted? How long has the car been sitting?

the tires are pretty much new... i can spin one of the front tires with my hands and it clearly spins with a side to side woble. with my car on my lift in drive at idle the rear tires spin with a side to side warp as well....
Mmm, maybe its the wheels out of round or drums.... no noises or issues driving it...

Wouldn't side to side movement be more like bearings? Up and down movement would be out-of-round.

they spin with a wobble, they do not move side to side with play....

I would check the rims. 40 year old steel rims will warp if you hid a bad pot hole or a curb. They can be repaired.
