Installing vintage air ac gen 4 sure fit. I pulled the cowl ducts per instructions and attempted to mount the fresh air covers provided by them. They are two different sizes. I called vintage and they said the covers are supposed to be different sizes and the holes are different. The ducts I pulled are mirror images and i modeled covers out of cardboard. Covers for my car would be the same size and hole alignment. Just curious if vintage is incorrect or what was in my car. RS, 68, no ac. Also, the lip on the cover provided by vintage prevents the cover that would fit from getting proper alignment due to a seam on the cowl.

I had the EXACT same problem when I did my 68! I ended up using the plastic piece they sent and made it work. My ducts were the same on both sides.
