Do you all know if fro the factory if the BB with cowl induction and the Z87 option came with the "molded" hood insulation or was it just the die-cut insulation pad. This would be for a 1969.

All 1969 Camaros built with the special ducted hood had the insulation pad.

All 1969 Camaros built with the special ducted hood had the insulation pad.

I was certain that they did come with a pad, but I questioned whether it was the molded pad or the flat pad.

My understanding is that the regular hoods and SS hoods had the flat insulation, and the cowl induction only came with the molded hold insulation.
