I have a 68 camaro and a set of nice 67 door is it possible to use them? Could i change them @ the hinge pins? anyone done this?

door panels are different the 67 doesn't go over the top of the door. and i think the weather strip is different also.

I would like to hear some coment's on this I have wondered the same thing many times , I only plan on owning 67's from now on and passed up a great deal on two 68 doors because I did not know what kind of job it would be to turn them into 67's ????

67's have vent windows. 68's don't.

It's my understanding that the inner door bracing for regulaters to bolt up is different. Not to mention the door panels. You will never get a 67 panel to fit a 68 door and vica versa. I think the only thing the same is the size itself, and the outer door skin. I don't beleive there is anything inside the 68 door to bolt the wing window too anyway. Even the window felts are different. Look at these doors together very closely for awhile, and you'll see the problems trying to interchange anything. I like the 67 deluxe interior so i don't care about the door panels.I would also keep vent windows if i can't use the 68 glass just don't know about the hinges is there any way around this problem?

there is a seprate part # for a 67 latch ,just bought one 100.00 .I could find anyone who knew if a 68 latch would work for sure . also does'nt the 68 have a wider lip at the top for the chrome?

I am not shure about the latch, however i have looked at the hinge and it looks like a conversion is not possible
