iam sick of the normal stock grills for my 84. i want like a honeycomb style or something else other than stock. anyone have any ideas?

Well, I did a quickie web search on "honeycomb grille". It seems these are pretty popular on the pickup truck and rice rocket scenes. Check these guys out, maybe you can find somethin you can modify!
