I now have my new Harrison 4 core BB AT radiator painted and installed in my car. All the Tranny cooling lines, hoses, fan and shroud etc. are all hooked up and it's ready to go. But then I went to put the over flow hose onto the filler area and to my chagrin the stupid nipple for the over flow hose is at such an angle that it is pointing at the carburetor. There is no way of course to move it to point more toward the passenger side fender. The dilemma here is that now when I put the over flow hose on, I have to a big loop in it, in order for it run down the side of the radiator and into the over flow hose clips. With out the loop, the hose will kink up. Is this right!?!

Every radiator I have ever seen always had the over flow connector angle toward the side ... but like said, this guy is pointing straight toward the carb. What's up with that?

Most I've seen do point rearward in the car.
Not so much at the 7 o'clock position, toward the carb like you say, but mostly from the 5-6 o'clock position.

Rob, all of my Harrison SB rads point towards the carb too. Sounds normal to me. There is a clip you need to buy that mounts underneath the rad tag that holds the overflow hose.

All righty then ... I guess it's a keeper then :)
