I know both of these are 1969 radios ... But what's the difference between the 2, 91BPB1 & 91APB1. I know that the 91 is for 1969, but I'm not sure about the rest of the code. I thought I read some where were the A and the B indicated which car the radio went into, ie. Impala, Nova, Chevelle, Camaro, etc. But then since they were actually the exact same radio, Chevy got away from that the A and B radios ended up interchange in any of the model cars.

Anybody out there know anything about this? Are the radios interchangeable? Are there an differences between the two?
Thanks in advance.

As I recall, the letter after the "1" is the Body Family, but with the AM radio it didn't matter, as almost all Chevy body families shared the same AM radio. My original '69 Z/28 AM radio has 91APB1, S/N 11PBZ-9084, Product #7307311 on the label.

:beers:
