Hey all, remember me???? I brought home the Camaro from California last year and had lots of questions about 4 speed conversions and the like......

Well, I have finally gotten around to doing the swap, but I have one sall quandary....... the shifter.

For now I can't completely afford to drop 200 plus dollars on a new shifter for the Camaro.........

I have been looking around at the Hurst shifters, and some say for 67-69, others say specifically for 69.........

I know the mount kit is different, but to the different shifter shafts being stud for 68 and bolt for 69......

But, the big question is this....Is there a difference in the SHIFTER its' self???

Hurst shows different part numbers for the 68 and 69...but does it have more to do with appropriately matching to the right mount kit??? Is not the location of the shifter hole the same on the 3 years??

Is the offset shifter arm bracket different in terms of the amount of offset????

I know one of you guru's knows the answer here..........

Please enlighten me......... I would sure appreciate it!

P.S. PLEASE pardon the spelling.........got off work this AM and am runnin' on just over an hour of shut eye!!!!!

the shifter body is the same for 67-69 but the chrome stick is different for 67-68 and 69.

Mounting kit would be for the year of trans.
