My 69 RS Z/28 has the original drivetrin. I have looked without success to see how many 69 Z's were ordered with the M22 trans. Anyone have a figure on that option?

Check the Camaro White Book.

I found my " Camaro White Book" and it reports that there were a total of 2117 M22 transmissions ordered for the 1969 Z/28.

There might have been a total of 2117 M22s installed in 69 Camaros, but they all didn't go into Z28's. They could be had in Z28's, L78s, L89's and of course L72 and ZL1 COPOs. GM did not keep the records that say this many of this option when into this particular car. Anyone claiming this knowledge is lying to you, or at best uniformed themselves.
