I am looking for some Cragar ss wheels for my 67 vert project. I have a stock 10 bolt rear end and I have upgraded the front to disc. I was going to put 15x8 on the rear and 15x7 on the front. How do I know what back spacing is needed? Is it trial and error or what.

unless you're really pushing the limit on tire size, it's pretty well known what fits.

front: 7", 4" backspace (my cragar SS, for some reason, are 3 7/8" bs, they fit fine)
rear: 8", 4 1/2" bs.

On my 68 Camaro I did not even think about it and just ordered wheels and they fit. I just got to thinking about it and decided I did not know how you pick them.
