ok heres the deal i have a 95 camaro 3.4 had a blown head gasket i replaced the head gasket and all other gaskets ... now when i try to start it it sounds like itis crosswired but i have checked the wiring over and over again can someone please help me before i loose my mind any help will be app. thank you

Does it try to start at all? Does it sound like it's making good compression. What do you mean by crosswired?

Did you pay real close attention to the pushrods when you took it apart ? They are two different lengths and if you mix them up it will bend valves when you try to start it :( Seems like almost half of the mechanics who are doing heads on this engine (and the 2.8 & 3.1's) for the first time have a problem with this. I hope thats not what you have but you need to check. If I remember correctly the exhaust pushrods are the long ones.

Bill,, thanks alot man i did not know that my mistake i guess so i guess now i will have to replac the valves or get a new head huh ohwell s@#t happens i guess thanks for your help man

YOu should be able to just replace the bent valves. They usually dont hurt anything else. Your local machine shop should be able to get them for you for a decent price.

ok got it fixed the valves were just out of adjustment
