I have a 67 camaro that I am just recently finishing the restoration. Yesterday when I was getting off the highway I started hearing a loud noise coming from the back of the car. It now makes this noise when I get around 30 mph and goes away at about 33. Outside of that area there is no noise. I have been told that my rear end is on its last leg as well if that could have anything to do with it. When I am driving in that area and i hit the gas i can easily hear it get progressivly louder. Anyone in the car could easily hear it without having to listen.

U joint, No gear oil in rear, brake shoe broken...check them all.

Hammer, get under your car and start tugging on stuff. You could have found the problem in the time it took to write your post.
