Did American Racing stop making torq-thrust II's in 17X9.5. I am trying to order some but cant find any. Even the American Racing website dosent list them in that size. Here is what I am looking for 17x9.5 w/ 5.5 backspacing. Any ideas??

That's a popular size, doesn't make sense they'd discontinue them.

The 5.5 inch backspacing is a custom size so you may not see it listed with the rest of the 17x9.5 rims.

Good luck. I'm still waiting for my 17x9.5" replacement wheel.....and this $hit all started back before November:mad:. I don't usually condemn a company until it has proven itself to be substandard on numerous occasions. In this case? AR sucks...and I will NEVER do business with them again.

For further info, see a thread I started about them a few months ago. I will conclude said thread when I receive the one freaking wheel I am due because of a QC problem with the original, which was brought to their attention immediately after receiving them :rolleyes:

The ETA I got for my custom AR's is 7 weeks from order date (due April 15th) we'll see how that goes...thinking positive thoughts.

You need to order from the right company, the people I ordered my 17x9.5 AR TT2s from had them instock, they always keep them instock because even though they are custom they are very popular.

Maybe this thread was a good sign. My local dealer just called an said he has a tracking number!!! Woo-hoo!!! The one wheel I've been waiting for should actually be here on Friday :rolleyes:
