I'm sitting here waiting for my ZZ383 to arrive any day now. I get a call from Summit. The engine stand that i bought back in January is being recalled. Seems that it has poor welds and pealing paint problems.

They will send a call tag. Summit can't supply a replacement stand for 2 to 3 weeks! I guess I'm in the market for another stand,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I told them I would let them know, regarding the call tag.:mad:

I've got a veteran engine stand sitting about 10 miles from you if you want to use it.

Put Summit over the barrel, tell them if you want stand, send me something in that category, hold it hostage. Its their responsibility to return, maybe issue credit for the stand and your trouble and get a better one.

Thanks for the offer on the stand. I'm off week this week. I'll do some shopping today and see what I can come up with.

There's a Harbor Freight in Vallejo, I may check it out.
