Hello guys i have standard interior I am converting to delux ,I have the right window regulators with longer shaft , now i am try to figure out how to do convert the pull handles ,what are the measures i have to do.????

I guess I'm not clear on what measurement you are looking to do for the door pull handle.

But as for the console thing ... You will need to go out and get a console Gage harness (M&H and AAW both sell them) at the very least. I'm guessing that the car is a non-console cat at this point. You can re-use you original dash harness, but there will be a little bit of work to there. Also, if you replacing your engine harness ... then get the one for console gauges as well.

I appreciate the tip on harness .........I not clear on that issue if I change the engine harness is in the engine bay, an console is the car ?
does the new harness from the bay navigate in to the car.???Please explain ??

I just did this to my doors so if you want pics or info pm me? I had some small issues with aftermarket stuff but it was fairly easy.

I have a friend who I think still has a pair of original GM deluxe door mechanisms available. I can check with him if you like.

Just went through test fitting the reproduction interior door handle mechanisms and reproduction handles. I started with installing the mechanism and the handle and was left scratching my head as the handles were angled wrong and were too close to the door in the released position. Ran a post here for help but didn't get anything that helped. I will now publicly admit to having one of those "Duh" moments. When I attached the rod from the door mechanism to the arm on the door latch I realized that the rod pushes the handle open some and aligns it properly. DUH, DUH, DUH!!!!

I did run into another problem though. I was using the original door latches. The driver's side worked great. However, the passenger side rod when attached did not push the handle out any. It needed to be 1/4" longer. Both rods measured the same. The arm on the latch did not appear to have significant wear. I ended up welding a tab on the latch arm to bring it 1/4" away from the latch and when the rod installed it positioned the handle properly.

The other problem I had was on the reproduction doors. Apparently the hole in the frame for the door lock knob rod was off some. I had to re-bend the lock rods and enlarge the frame opening a bit to get them to work properly. Be sure and put the door panel on with the lock knob ferrule in place and operate the lock knob to make sure it doesn't bind on the ferrule or the opening in the door frame.

Which brand of door panels did you buy and where did you buy them. How did they fit? Do you have any pictures with them installed.

Hey Guys these are very complicated I have to really look at this ,you guys have some standard door panels black ,in good used condition? An can you tell me were to get isulation an how you went about installing it size to cut, your door look very professional
