I'm wondering if anyone has owned a Holley zinc coated carb that the finish started to blister. I just picked up a 3310 with zinc finish. When I pulled off the fuel bowls, I couldn't believe what I saw. It was like the inside of the carb had chicken pocks!!! Has anyone with this problem ever called Holley on it, and what did they do? It's obviously a coating/plating flaw....just wondering if they would stand behind their product and maybe send out a new set of bowls. Thanks!!!!

YES, that is I haven't personally, but I'm aware.
There was another thread on this this week at team chevelle, in performance.
This is a known problem. Holley had trouble with thier plating process for a period of time in the past. The date codes affected are in the team chevelle post, lifted from a post on corvetteforum. Affected carbs were built from dec 05 o5 till july of 06, look for a 4 digit number stamped on the air horn, 3345-3655, 0016-1986
Holley will replace it, call them.
Here's the Team Chevelle post: http://www.chevelles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=143169
