All thought I would post a really good deal I found yesterday on a tire and wheel package.

Discount tire is having a sell on tire and wheel packages. If you use their online site or call the number from the site you get free shipping, mounting, balancing and 100.00 off if you order in the month of March. Their web site is "discounttiredirect".

They have a good Torque Thrust replica in chrome, black, and gray. I bought the 17X8 with 245x45x17 for the front and 255X40X17 for the rear with Hancook tires. Total was 850 to my door.

I called in my order and the guy said that this size was test fit for a 69 Camaro and will fit. Does anyone see a problems with the size, they are 4.5 backspace.

The Bonus is that if for any reason your not happy with the tires or wheels as long as you have not driven on them they take them back no questions asked and no penilty.

You got wheels and tires for that price? I tried it and am not seeing or getting the "package" deal. It's almost $850 just for the wheels ($175/ea)! Guess I'll call them...

wheels were 500 a set of four and the tires with valve stem were a little over 450 a set of four after the 100 discount it came out to right at 850.

Aha, you're quoting a package price for tires and the silver painted wheels ($125/ea). I'm looking at the polished wheels ($175/ea).
