Hi,
I posted in another thread about my blinkers not working and the console gauges stop working when you try to turn blinkers on.

I checked and double checked all grounds and found nothing wrong as far as I can see.

Question:
The hazard lights work fine. Do the hazard lights share the same flasher as the turn signals or do the turn signals have one of their own?

Could it be something simple like the flasher for the signals went bad and that is causing some sort of short??
I am just grasping at straws here.
Thanks!

hazards and turn signals have separate flasher relays. one is on the fuse block, the other is under the dash near the center of the car. doesn't the console stuff get it's power from the turn signal flasher? check your backup lights...

Thanks for that info.
I do not have my back up lights hooked up since I changed from a auto to a standard tranny. All other lights work though.

Maybe the console stuff does get it's power from the signal flasher...

I found the flasher on the fuse box and now I will look for the other.
I guess it is worth a shot. This all happened so quick that I have no idea what is going on.

The turn signal flasher has its own separate plug around the middle of the underdash, as guccieng said--look for a 90-degree flat female plug with 2 pink and 1 purple wires. That's your boy. Good luck!
