I have a De Fog switch beside the wiper switch on my 69 Camaro. I cannot find any wire nor any mention of it in a wiring diagram. Did it have one? What is it for? Could it be possible that I do not have the correct dash?

That switch is for a rear window defogger. Does your have one . It was a option. If not , has woodgrain been added to your car. The reason I ask... I had a 69 years ago that someone added the woodgrain from another car and it had the switch hole. So they left the switch in to fill the hole. But did'nt add the defogger.

No woodgrain, just a switch with nothing to do, no rear defogger either. I have searched a few places for another dash since I don't like unworking switches. Just bought the car about a month ago and finding little electrical issues I did not expect. Still searching for the wires under the dash for the gas gauge. Patience I guess!!!!

Gas guage should be a tan wire.

Where can i get that 60 Camaro???
