attempting to line up z bar bought a new ball for 327 engine and won't line up....too wide....was a factory 4 sp car got z- from a swap meet...are there different sizes? thanks

BB Z-bars are right at an inch wider than the SB Z-bars.

That's b/c the BB's are mounted right at an inch over to the Pass. side to clear the steering gearbox at the exhaust manifold.
