I'm trying to remove the outer rockers.

I drilled the spot welds, grinded the spot welds, and I'm miles away.

This is suppossesd to be fun.

use a good quality 3/16' cut off wheel and use it to grind the spotweld area out.Stop when you see the underlying panel. You should be able to grind out each weld in about ten seconds. once they are all done peel the panel off with a few quick raps with an air chisel (or hammer and chisel) Its also easier to remove the old panel in sections than in one hunk.

LOL

Yep!
And expect to take MUCH longer than you think as well.
I'm just finishing up that area myself.

I did the same project and it just takes time. As someone else suggested cut up into small sections to make them easier to remove....plus it feels like you are getting something done. It is always rewarding in the end ....that's where the love comes in....AFTER. Hang in there you'll get er done.

Cutting it up in smaller pieces sounds like a good idea.

Thanks for the advice and support.

It is fun and I do love it, it will just take time...a lot of time.

When someone ask's "when will you be done" I always respond "you don't understand".
