I have a 1111489 8J18 and also a 1111168 6L17. Need to know if either of these came with one of my cars, there's a little mixup in the shed.

Well the 489 part number is a 350/300HP A/T 69 Camaro onw. Appears to me made oct 18 68

The 168 could have been on a 67 350 or 68 350. It appears to have been built Dec 17 of 66 so I figure that is the right one for your car.

The 489 was made SEPT 18 68. The 168 was made NOV 17 66. The letter "I" was not used in dist stampings.

The 489 was used across the Chev lineup for 350/300hp with auto trans.
