I have a 1968 with a stock 2 barrel 350 crate motor. I am looking at putting a Performer Eldebrock top end kit with a Holly Carb. Is this a good kit or would I be better with something else. The goal is to gain more horsepower and performance.

I didn't know they made a 2-barrel 350 until recently b/c I've never seen one.
You need to find out what pistons it has in it so that you can buy heads w/ the correct chamber volume so that along w/ a quench of from .035" to .045", you come up with about 9.75 to 10 to 1 CR. so that you can run a decent 270ish or so cam for good street engine power production, imho.

PS., 4-notch flat-top pistons are right at -5 cc or so.
Shallow dished w/ 4-notch are about a -12 cc's for starters and headgaskets from .015" and .020" up to above .040".
