I did a search on this forum under ‘dye.” There isn’t much information at all. No one seems to have experience with this issue. If your top is black, interior vinyl paint might work. My top is white, so I never tried anything. I always figured it would come out looking bad somehow. I’ve just decided to wait until I get a new top. I just might go with a black top too. White is hard to keep clean & keep looking good. Check out this search link I did:
