( note I don't have the controller yet ) I'm looking at the instructions and this controller has a low and high speed. It says it requires a relay for the second fan. When this is all hooked up do both fans come on low then both come on high? The way it looks to me is 1 fan comes on low and both come on high. Is there a new controller out thats a plug and play for dual fans that would make both come on low then high? It would just make sense for them to make a controller for there dual setup. Any info?

None that I could find, the controllers aren't up to the task of managing that much current on their own. It's a very common setup for the PWM controllers to run the first fan at varying speeds at lower temps then kick it up to full speed and turn on the relay for the second fan when the higher temp requires it.

I have done some searches regarding fan controllers since I am in the process of wiring up my dual fans on my new aluminum radiator. What I have read is that the Spal controllers are not very good. You would be better off using Dakota Digital, Flex-a-lite or one of the others. I am not going to use a controller. Just the sensor switch in the manifold and a couple of relays.
