Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could point me in a direction. I have a 69 that did not originally come with bumperettes. I just picked up a factory GM original front pair for 20 bucks!!! And they are in pretty darn good shape.

Anyway, I was trying to mount them and it looks like I will need to drill a hole in the lower valance. It dosent have the holes there.

My question, is there supposed to be a bracket behind the valance connecting it to somthing else? Or does it simply bolt to the valance only? I would think it would need a brace for the lower part of the bumperette.

Thanks in advance,

Joe

In the AIM its V31. I don't know of a template though. Maybe someone with them can measure how far apart they are and go from there.

Theres just a nut and washer behind the valance, nothing else.
