I have a 67 vert that the PO put snaps on for the the top boot. Of course the top boot did not come with the car. Is there a standard spacing for the snaps and does someone make a top boot with snaps? I know the original setup would have the C clips. Do I just need to find a local shop that would make a custom boot to fit and what would be the expected cost?

Thanks,
Scott

mines the same way - but hated the fit with the snaps

went with the higher end PUI boot with the clips and am very satisfied with the fit using my existing pinch molding - you dont see the old snaps when installed

heres a pic

Tstone,
Looks good. Where did you get the PUI boot from and how much was it? I tend to get stuff thru NPD. The C clips pop down onto the pinchweld with the snaps still there? And the PUI boot you got was the the OER replacement style or a thicker upgrade?

Thanks,
Scott

i bought it at npd and yes it was the thicker upgrade - dont remember the cost but its in their cataloge - on my car at least - the snaps were spaced in such a way that the clips didnt interfere with them the only accomidation i had to make was for the center one and it only moved it over a small amount - not enough to notice
