I might go to the bone yard and get a 3 piece spoiler for my car, what is involved with putting it on? Once I get it painted is it somehting I could do easily?. My Cam is a Sport Coupe, did the Z have any features that wouldnt let me put a spoiler on?
Thanks

Fit the spoilers BEFORE you have the car painted. I promise the holes you have to drill will have to be elongated to make the spoilers fit properly.
To get the holes a little closer to where they have to be, position the spoilers forward (toward the front of the car even though the lip won't let you sit them down all the way). The hole locations will be forward of where they will look like if you just sit the spoilers on the 1/4's and deck lid because the posts are at an angle, if I remember correctly.

If you're taking one off a car in the bone yard, take some measurements off the car you take them from. That should get you real close. Also remember that 70-73 spoilers were different from 74-81 on the ends.(The centers are the same.) The 70-73 kind of wrapped around the lip of the tail panel and then down the qtr. panel to a level line from the lowest point of the side tip.(I hope I described that o.k.) The 74-81's were angled from the side tip to accomadate the tail light the wrapped around the qtrs.

I had a 70 RS that had the later spoiler that, although wasn't correct, looked o.k.
