View Full Version : 11" Brake booster & Tall valve covers

Hi all ,who is running the 11" booster and tall valve covers ,I have my all new brake booster setup just out on the market its the 69 power disc Front/drum Rear,I am going from manual disc to power and my new motor has semi tall valve covers ,I was reading in the performance forum, and TT has issues with tall V covers ,mine are the chevrolet cast alum flavor ,I hope I don't have fitment problems ,I think his are extra tall if I remember and by looking at his picture,Thanks in advance for your help...Happy Motoring

I found this picture on E bay no issues here from what I camn see ,about the same height as what I got,maybe I have answered my own question ....any more input would be greatly apprecated....Happy motoring

Jerome, I have those same valve covers with an 11" booster and I have no issues on the 327.

Hey Funk ,Thank you and do you mean the ones I have , or in the 2nd picture, suppos it don't matter same height,I think all will be fine ,the thread in Performance forum are the Edellbrock ones that the top unbolts, and I beleave they are extra tall is why he has fitment issues to his booster ,anybody else have tall ones with power brakes:)...Happy motoring...Funk I like your car and I like where your RS is on your front fender :yes:,I am no purest ....Thanks again:noway:,but appreciate correctness,and the commitment to achieve that....

Jerome, I have the same valve covers as the second picture that you posted with the 11" booster. No issues.
