I wanted to pass on some information for anyone doing a power to manual four-wheel disc set up.

I’ve been looking for a push rod for a weeks and couldn’t find one. So today I was looking at the original drum brake booster and decided to try and remove the attached push rod. After about 20 minutes of chiseling and prying the plastic cup out I was able to get it out. It still had a small seat retainer attached, that I removed with a nut buster.

The rod itself had a taper toward the end of it, but once I measured and started cutting it to size the taper was almost completely gone. I rounded the end with my grinder and now I have my push rod. Took less than 45 minutes.

I hope this information can help someone else. And if anyone knows a reason not to use this, please let me know.
