How do you repair missing "T" studs and secure window molding clips?

Most body shops have a "stud gun"that can be used to weld new studs in place. If there is any paint or body filler present it will have to be ground off,the studs welded on and refinished. The glass has to be out of the car.If you can't find a stud gun,you canuse 1/8inch pop rivets.Hope this helps.

Body shop suppliers also sell a screw in replacement stud.

There are also clips designed to be screwed in. Like on a '65 "A" body windshield posts. I personaly like them because the paint doesn't get scratched off when the clip gets pushed on.
