We'll get something going here. The 63 diner would be a good place, but you're right. No brews there, except for coffee and ice tea. Great pie though.

There is a new place, Cadillac Ranch, that isn't too bad but it's more of a cowboy theme. You guys got the park reserved again for Camarofest?

Mark just got home friday night! I was up on the roof at the restaurant cleaning the leaves out of the gutters and I done a darwin award [the patio roof was metal and the leaves were wet using the blower water got on the roof and down I went] nothing broken just bruised all over! glad I fell on my hip [my big butt help] and head not moving very good today. you guys are welcome anytime just let me know when. Hey, guys the Magic Dragon car show is the week of may 2-3 maybe we can do something that week-end they usually have 300-400 cars. It will be be on the strip at bagnell dam.

I hear ya Paul. I've got a big patch of bare dirt where I filled in a small pond that I've leveled and seeded, twice. And here we go again. They're saying a couple more inches of rain tonight and tomorrow. Should wash my grass seed away and make some more nice ruts. :sad:

Sat. the 3rd is the big day of the car show, sat night they have a cruise the strip night at the dam. Also you won't want to be at the restaurant sat. night we are having our cinco de mayo Party on the patio I would not advice you to park your car here because we will be packed and parking is bad with all the people. We did have a few show cars here last year and a lot stopped in sun afternoon on the way home.

Hmmm, I didn't think about the whole Cinco de Mayo thing. Guess that would be a busy time for you. Crazy Americans will use anybody's holiday as long as it means drinking. :D

Sunday, or a different weekend, may be better then. I was more interested in shooting the bull for a while than rubbing elbows with the masses. What do you think Paul? Anyone else?

Got some bad news. Something came apart in my engine the other day. I'm thinking busted piston. Long sad *** story... Anyway, I'm going to pull the heads off again tonight and see what's going on. I'm sure it won't be good.

I was going to pick up Paul and head down to the lake Sat. morning and meet Jerry (molaker) down at the show somewhere. My car is in pieces (long story), so we'll be in my Grand Prix or Paul's corn popper as he calls it. We can meet up with you somewhere or just meet you down there, either way.

I took yesterday off to pull the engine out and ended up working on the mower and then mowing for 5 hours instead. The yard looks nice, but I still don't know what's wrong with my motor. :mad: I had to fix the aerator in the septic tank too. I do believe pulling the engine would have been much more enjoyable...

I picked up an engine hoist on sale at Harbor Freight for $130. Should have done that 30 years ago. Anyway, guess I'll pull the thing out Sunday and see what's going on.

The show start's at the west end of the dam and goes for MORE than a couple of miles up the hill on into the west side of town!

What a hoot!!

Great cool sunny day, got my face sunburnt BAD!!

We ended up w/ some Mex and a cool one at molaker's place out west of town on the hwy toward's Camdenton, had a great time there too shotting the "hazanga".

Sucker cost $3.00 to park w/ a shuttle every ten minutes!! Can you say CHEAP!!

Paul and Dave, I pulled the bottom end out yesterday and didn't find any major damage. There was a bunch of small chewed up metal pieces and shiney flecks. Guess it ate the lower dipstick tube or something. The little pieces were steel and not aluminum because I could pick them up with a magnet.
