Man, I can't believe I did this, or that I'm admitting it here. I was in a hurry pulling the vacuum line off my brake booster and I broke the plastic nipple off which promptly fell into the booster. I've never seen the inside of the booster. Will leaving it there have a potential to damage the diaphragm or cause a bind? I hate thinking I have to remove the booster and try to fish it out.

I wouldn't leave it in there if it broke off sharp, but it might take a long time to rub through the diaphragm if it's not sharp. good luck!

I ended up doing the "right thing" and removing the booster to fish out the nipple. All is good.
