I've been reading throught the other posts and they tend to center on small block cars so here is a fresh thread. I have a 68 SS that I am frame off restoring. I have a Heidt's bolt-in 4 link rear suspension with adjustable coil overs and now am purchasing the front suspension. I would like to run some tubular a-arms with coil overs and get a 2" drop, but I see from other threads that the drop spindle is not a good thing. With adjustable coil overs am I able to "drop" 2" over stock ride height without clearance (either suspension or wheel) problems? To fill in the rest of the info I am running a 17" wheel with a 225 tire and 13" rotors. Looking for suggestions here as I need to purchase all the parts pretty quickly and have whatever needs powdercoated done and to the bodyshop.
Thanks!!!!
