The only info. in the auction bill is this:
1968 CHEVY CAMARO CONVERTIBLE,
Auto, 6-Cyl., 2-Dr., No Rust,
Runs Good, Real Sharp
Anyone care to take a shot at the value of this at auction, with this limited info? Remember its in a small town in northern Minn. hopefully that keeps the attendance down ;)
thorpe67RS Mar 28th, 08, 04:36 PM Red on Red...i love that combo. Black top i assume. Being a six cylinder auto non RS or SS... I would guess upper teens.
Ghostbuster Mar 28th, 08, 04:53 PM If it's as clean as they say or looks...
I'd have to say $20K minimum,
...over $30K on Craigslist,
$40K on ebay or a dealer.
small town auction house in Longville, MN., (next to the turtle races),...you might get it for $3500
Estate sales can be a gold mine? :beers:
Jonesy Mar 28th, 08, 05:09 PM I would say you would be better off buyer before the auction. If it's listed
in the auction notification, people will come. I have seen junk sell for twice as much as it's worth in these auctions. People get goofy.

I dont think theres any chance this car would go for 40k on ebay. Nor do i think you could ever pick it up for $3500 at an estate auction.
I was saying upper teens would be a decent price to pay.
Everett#2390 Mar 28th, 08, 08:37 PM Fifteen to twenty-two thousand. Especially if A/C equipped. Nice car, has appearance pkg.
CGFlyer61 Mar 28th, 08, 10:34 PM Agreed. 18K.
click Mar 29th, 08, 05:49 PM Trying to reach the deceased owner's son now. :)
captcanuck68 Mar 29th, 08, 07:59 PM Jim, just hope that a dealer doesn't get wind of this auction... would rather see you get it at a decent price.
