: Extra Fender Holes

so i was out working on my Fenders earlier and cam across this problem i noticed that the left fender had two extra badge holes drilled compared to the otherside, i doesnt seem correct. Am i going to have to weld them up or drill two more?

Skates, If either of the sets are in the correct location, then go with those holes and weld in the rest. if NONE of the holes are correct, then you can look on the back side of the fenders and see if there is any signs where the original holes were. If you try to use "mud" to fill them in, then you will have problems later after all that body work and paint (don't ask me how I know this:D) Hope it helps!

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c221/hockey5605_2001/Picture335.jpg[/qthe small holes are for the camaro emblem...it looks to me that maybe the large ones were used for an ss emblem or engine size...fill in the large ones as the others you will need...:thumbsup:

Four holes should be correct for the "Camaro" fender emblem on a 68. Like the other guys said be sure to check the backside of the fender, the holes may already be there and just have filler in them.

Not positive about a 68, but a 67 would have had the V-flag emblem below the bodyline with a small engine callout in between the flags.
