Does anyone know of a shop that can custom blend colors and place it in a spray can? I had my car color scanned by my local body shop and would like to have a few spray cans made up.

Depending on what type of paint,most of your better automotive paint suppliers can put a specific color in a spray can for you.I've had it done for certian acrylic enamels and acrylic lacquers.

They've filled a couple of cans of custom paint for me and put it into cans. They even keep it in their computer so all I have to do is call them and say I want 2 cans of "Susan's Orange" or "Randy's Teal" then pick it up in an hour or so.

My local auto paint supply store scanned my car and can make up spray cans for $25 each. Any color.
check with the local auto paint wholesalers that mostly sell to body shops. They also retail.

Joe, I bought a pint of Garnet red (PPG) from Wesco auto Body in Everett, Wa. If you buy the paint from them, they will fill a spray can for 9 bucks. Good Luck!

I live out in NJ and I'll be darned if I could find a shop to mix paint and place it in a spray can. smile.gif

If anybody wants, I have a can pumper at the facility I run and will fill cans of Acrylic Enamel and Lacquer for about 3 bucks a can. You just have to send me the paint and give me a credit card number to pay for the cans and the shipping. This is just for Team Camaro people, you can be assured at 3 bucks a can I am basically covering the costs only. Email me if interested. BTW, I don't sell the Automotive paint, you have to supply that.
