I recently had my 67 painted. Approx 3 weeks ago. Are there any special instructions I need to know about? How long should I wait before taking her to the car wash or waxing? Thanks

Mine has always told me not to do anything except wash it for 60 days to allow the solvents to evaporate completely before doing any polishing or waxing, as that seals the surface, and you don't want to trap any solvents in the paint. ------------------ JohnZ '69 Z28 Fathom Green Tim Meredith May 10th, 01, 04:15 AM Do you like salt that is what you are cleaning your car with. When you take your car to a car wash they put salt in the water to make it cut the water cut the dirt. I will not take my car to one. With the new pants you can wax at about any time after it is buffed out. Make sure to get all the bufing compound off your car after it sets up you will have a very hard time geting it off. Never take a nice car to a car wash. TIM | ||
