Got home last night at 10p.m. had a great time in Flordia, prices were down big time on most cars although some did bring decent money.Good deal for buyers but bad for the sellers. We also went to Daytona Raceway on saturday huge car show/car coral/swap meet, there were about 2500 cars maybe more. We walked car coral for 2 hours it was huge tons of muscle cars for sale I thought the prices were cheap 20's & 30's $ for some real nice cars, lots had OBO after price & slash marks through prices lowering it sometimes 2 times. Looks like it is getting to be a buyers market.Talk to a lot of people at the auction Barrrett/ Jackson was not winning any popularity contest. I thing the reserve price might be making a come back.

I found that the Camaros, for the most part, were overpriced for what they were. Or maybe I was expecting too much.

The term "Show Quality" kept being spouted by the auctioneer, even when some cars had *serious* gap issues, rattle can runs under the hood, wavy quarters, rusty headers, unkept undersides.

The cars did look beautiful on TV.

On the flip side, tons of nice old vettes there, the '62 C5 vettes were wild, food was good.

I saw some of those cars sell for WAY less than (my estimated) build cost. Some sellers lost out, no doubt. Looks like a good place to buy something, so long as you do some careful investigative work......
