Steve ,My brother Bob had a Z11 around that time period ,1978. His car was a SB auto car.Would of been from Bridgewater NJ. I remember putting a Hi Perf cam in it. Believe it had headers.Remember it had ralley rims, Dan

Wow, nice find! It would be nice if they were all like that. The owner might want to stop by at www.camaropacecars.com and share the story there too. Mine is very similar and built the same week.

can you imagine what the line at Norwood looked like during the last weeks of March and first weeks of April with pace cars coming down?

My Z11 is optioned almost identically to this car! Mine had the endura, other than that..the same.
My car was built approx 1400 cars behind it... probably a day after yours. 03D car also.

It must of been a sight to see pacer after pacer coming down the line!

Over the weekend it went for the first ride . 1978 I can find the day because the window of the 1owners son was born that day he hit a bridge so hard on the way home it broke the right leaf spring . and the car was left sittting . 31 year later on 4/11/09 we drove it into a gas and loged its first miles restored. under 20 hour left on it . I think it harder to make them like not perfect. and leave some of the GM lines .Its Still Better
