do you have a convertible or coupe? Sounds like a convertible, if so, I have yet to see that part made. I maybe able to help you. I have 2 convertibles, one is pretty rusted from the top of the wheelwell opening down, I was in the process of restoring but I found another one that was much farther along in the restro the mine. So I'm cutting the parts off that I know isn't made aftermarket. E-mail me and I'll let you know when that will happen. but if it is a coupe that part is made aftermarket. Check around the prices very.

I still might be able to help you out. E-mail: KIENDZIORSIX@aol.com. He has 4 coupes in his back yard that are for parts. Let him know what you need. Tell him that Rich sent you. I will also give hime a call. Good luck on your project. He is out of Montgomery, Ma.

I think you want the 'rear body panel' or 'rear valance'. This is the panel between the rear glass and the trunk lid. This panel has the bottom gutter for the rear glass. You can order it from Rick's (www.firstgen.com), or Chevyland (www.chevylandparts.com), or several other vendors. Chevyland sells it for 49.95 (67-69 Camaro). Small price to pay if your current panel needs replacement.

I misunderstood about the panel you referred to. I understand now after reading the above post more closely. Chevyland (www.chevylandparts.com)has a rear package shelf for $19. I don't know if this is the same piece or not. I would call one of the vendors and ask about it.
