Generally there is a button on the switch somewhere that releases the knob and shaft.

Pull the headlight switch knob out all the way, depress the little spring-loaded plunger on the metal part of the switch body, and that will release the knob and shaft. Then you can unscrew the round slotted nut that retains the switch to the cluster and drop the switch out the back side of the cluster. :thumbsup:
