Hi guys. I have the chance to pick up a 78 Camaro for $500. Interior,VGC.Body,OK,but has some filler. Engine,SB 400,not running and I don't know if it's rebuildable. I'm looking for a good project car for my step daughter and I to build, but I've been out of the Chevy loop for awhile,so I'm not up on the prices.
Thanks,Drake

the guys over at www.nastyz28.com (http://www.nastyz28.com) will give you some good advice.

2nd Gens, either you like them or you dont .. theres no in between with that generation. I think that 500 bucks for it is a good deal .

LOL,yeah, lucky for me my daughter is well past that stage. She'll be driving by the fall. Second gen. wouldn't be MY first pick, but this one looks cheap,my daughter would be happy with it,and parts should be cheap..(at least as compared to my GTO!). Thanks guys
