I drove many, drive many, wanted to take home many :D. They really do handle well, and look great. Gas mileage isnt great but thats expected. They take off like a rocket as well. The only downfall i can think is that they dont have dual exhaust and you really cant hear the power the produce. Hell, even the Equinox sport has dual exhaust. Its not real duals like our great great ancestors(chevrolet muscle) but i feel chevrolet should have atleast put duals on the SS trailblazer. Im sure you will have nothing but good to say about it regardless!

I bought a Trailblazer SS (AWD) early in 2006 a few months afrer they came out . I have just under 30k on it now. I love it. It's my favorite daily driver that I've ever owned. Gas mileage is the only downside, but what would you expect with a 395 hp LS2 Corvette engine and AWD. You can expect between 12-17mpg with it. I average about 15 but I have a heavy right foot. You can make them real beasts with minor mods. I supprise a lot of people on the road with it, I can tell you that.

I just bought mine on October and I absolutely love it. It is a well balanced vehicle that handles and accelerates well. Fuel Economy is not the best, but I knew that going in. The Trailblazer SS is a fun vehicle to own and drive. I really enjoy it when someone tries to pass me on the right at a red light. It is never even close. I recommend buying one.

Im not crazy about the interior

The Denali interior style should have been used, the interior looks to blah. IMHO

Love the truck to death, want one, but it needs a better trans for gas mileage, and an upgraded interior.

The Six Speed Overdrive used in the Cadillac Escalade would be a good choice for a better overdrive transmisson.

I believe that thread is about the "regular" Trailblazer, not the Trailblazer SS. The SS is a completely different animal.

Check out tbssowners.com i run it its the biggest trailblazer ss site on the net.

Now i have a tbss supercharged ran 11.9@113 on pump gas 1.701 60 foot looking for 11.50s with 8psi pulley.

Great truck and just a blast to drive. I do suspension setups for this truck worked with belltech and djm to give us specail pricing. Also i was able to get suicide doors to mock up a custom panhard adjustable bar for us which is needed when lowering these trucks.
