David, I don't know what it's worth, but if it's a 69 matching numbers from the original owner, buy it!

Or, give me his contact information and I will!!!:D

At this time is not in a good shape but:
Engine is standard,
All the power train is original.
It needs TOTAL resto.
Floors OK
Trunk panel needs to be replaced.
It needs quarters, door panels, rear panel, front fenders and upper and lower valance.
It need a lot of work but if the final value of the car is high, it worth it.

I just wanted to know the value of an excellent condition RS Numbers match to calculate if it worth all the work and money it needs.

The actual owner wants 5000 dollars for it.

Buy it right away. $5000 you usually get something that is in very bad shape and you are getting an original car from the 1st owner.

If it finished well it should hit $25K range, well worth investing money into it to fix it up.

According this page it can worth 39K. Is this right?

If you plan to drive and enjoy it a few years it may be worth the investment. If you plan to restore it and turn it around to get your money back out of it then you'll be disappointed.

Well, the car needs a lot of work but here in Venezuela there is no problem. You can get an excellent body work for less than 1500 $ and to paint it only 2000$. The problem is the rest of parts I will need to finish it as a #1 car.
The car is very complete but you always need to spend around 5000$ in spare parts to have a gorgeous car.
I am finishing a 71SS camaro and I have a 67 SS convertible camaro.
If I can get 30K for this one at the end I think is a good deal, specially if it is an all numbers match car.
I don’t restore cars for business but I want to keep my investment.

A numbers match 6 banger or 307 is not nearly as valuable as a numbers match SS or Z. RS is good, but the real value is in the muscle.

A finished RS non-SS non-Z is worth a WHOLE lot less than a finished RS-SS or RS-Z/28.

Following the info of the trim tag: (Can some one help me to decode this Trim Tag?)
