Does anyone know if the 2" x 4" (+/-) trim plates that screw into the outboard underside of the spoiler is the same for 67/68 and 69? My painter lost mine a few years ago, and they have not turned up yet. They were a little pitted anyway. Just another detail to get right.

Are they being repopped, or can someone send be an outline of them, (as well as the thickness)

Which year did you need? They are different, 69 is the 4.5 inch . I took one off and its and odd shape. If you have a fax I can trace it and send tommorow from work if you'd like.

The 68s are 3" long and the 69s are 4.5" long . Have not seen any repops. Here is a pic of some old spoilers I have that shows the difference

I need it for a 69. My fax is 423-622-7340. Could you include a ruler in the fax in case it does not come through at 100%. I know many copiers grow by 2%. Don't know about faxes....better safe than sorry.

Thanks, I really appreciate it.

Vince,
It got here....thanks very much! BTW, the Faxed copy measures 4-1/8" rather than 4-1/2"so it really shrunk!
Also, it appears to be asymetric. Is that correct?

Thanks again.

One other question, should the screw that holds the plate be painted, or was the plate painted before installation?

Gary, the underside is not painted at all so I would say it was painted in place and not even that great, very thin paint including the screw.
Hope this helps:beers:

Oh and yes, asymetric.
