It looks like a nice car...but I guess nobody wants to pay 29.9k or better for it.

Not sure what your point is, it's only been listed for one day. It's not the color, the color combo is great and it looks like a nice car. Not sure in todays market that it's a 30k car. I think it's a 22k-25k car.

Is this a car that has shown up many times and not sold? I'm not sure I understand your concern where it's only been listed for 30 hrs. or so, other than it being slightly overpriced.

I don't know, it's a darn nice unmodified 67 RS vert with very good documention. I'd say the auction just hasn't run long enough.

it only has 30 hours left....not 30 hours on auction.

Hmmmmm, let's see. If money was no oblect and I wasn't already commited to a 5 figure repop on the existing 67......

$27.9k would probably be closer to market value, color probably is cutting down the number of interested buyers (I know I don't like it, but anything close to yellow is a non-starter for me). Otherwise looks like a good place to start.

I think it is the white color. It if was a black/red/orange car it would have sold already.

Ouch :(

The market is still cooling with the uncertainty of the economy. People are just looking for safer 'investments' these days.

Probably some folks out there that don't care for Marina Blue either....

No investors? Good! Then if the "investors" go else where, more cars will be left for the people who love them!

Is it the color??

Yes and No. Honestly the car has very little WOW factor. It needs white letter tires at a Minimum and a cowl/SS hood and rear spoiler would help a ton.

JMO of course.....

I do agree to some extent. Its a pretty plain looking car. Those tires are horrible looking...good whitewalls would make a huge difference. Im not sure id go as far as a cowl hood or spoiler on a nice original car like that...but i know what youre saying.

Its a very nice solid looking car. Its not showing well because of the back round scenery, park it on a nice green patch of lawn also near a wall of another color to show off the nice detail lines and the wight color of the car.. The top up as well down.... Oh yeah the right rear beauty ring is coming off.

It doesn't matter what color it is. You're not buying the "color". It wouldn't be my first choice but how many white cars do you see out there. Besides you could never paint it another color. The value of the car is in it's originality and documentation. (he even has a pic of him and the previous owner, pretty cool)

Copied from the auction description:
"It is definitely Capri Creme, not white"

Obviously it does matter what color it is, and YES someome is buying the color if the price is met.

If it WAS a different color that price might have been already met.

JMO..........

nice car, a heck of a lot cheaper than buying a rust bucket and trying to make it nice ... they are only nice/original once ...

cool car, great documentation

reasonable IMHO

I disagree with the whitewalls or white letter tires though, it looks great as-is

no cowl hood or spoilers needed either IMHO, but then I think the cowl hoods ONLY belong on 69's ...

Car looks great just as it is. The right individual just hasn't come along. It's funny in this hobby the things most would change or add to this car to me would just make it less desireable to own. Blackwalls look great, I don't care to advertise for a tire company, I've always thought white letters looked cheesy. Redlines might dress it up just a bit. No spoiler, stock flat hood both perfect on this car. Manual trans, hopefully manual steering it would be just the way I like these cars. Personally it's a breath of fresh air not seeing a red Camaro with a cowl hood, 8" Corvette ralley wheels sticking out from under the wheel openings, spoilers, ect. Just a nice clean, tight car.

It's all subjective you see. Currently I own a red 68SS 350. I don't like red, I don't like 350s. I'm not crazy about small block SS cars. So why did I buy it? It was the best thing I could find at the time and it wasn't a clone. I really struggle with keeping the car because there's so much I don't like about it. But slowly I'm changing it all over to what I like.

Again it's so subjective what everyone is looking for in these cars that it's just a matter of finding the right person for the car.

Nice car, clean and more representive to an everyday car. Being a vert alone makes it stand out as unmolested mom or pop car. How many others do you see like this in the jane category. Remember this was the beginning of First Gen.

Love the car! Has a good look, I am very tired of seeing 8" rallys and white letter tires too.
Your pictures are POOR, what are they scanned or??? They won't even enlarge. As far as price, I'd say you are a couple dollars high; maybe 27k. Give buyer a guarantee they will be pleased or they don't have to buy following inspection.

I agree its about finding the right person. And its a great car. Nor, as i mentioned earlier, should the hood be changed or spoiler added. But you are also right that its subjective....... cause those tires are fuuuuugly to me.
