I've owned my 69Z since 2000 and the door buzzer/relay never worked. Horns work fine. Well guess what, I was working on the car today checking things out and I stuck the key in the lock and the relay started buzzing away. All fine and dandy. I was so excited about it working, I told my wife about it and took her out to the garage to show her. She is into Camaros too. Well...now the dern thing isn't working again. Is there something I need to check to find out why it isn't working? Any tips will help. Is there something I can do to at least rule out a faulty relay? Jump wires or anything like that?

Thanks,
Gary

CHeck for voltage on the pink wire to power the buzzer. No voltage, no buzz. Comes from ign switch.

Your refering to the switch on top of the column correct?

the driver~door jamb switch is in this circuit as well; might check the wires on backside of it for good connection, or reach down and wiggle the switch itself to ensure it's making contact.
(fwiw: mine comes and goes also ...)

Thanks for the info. I'll check these things out. Maybe a bad ground or something like that possibly.
