are you high bidder? i am just asking because i also am bidding on this thing. Wonder what the reserve is? I am guessing around $12-$15k.

And yes the trim tag looks newish. Anyone else seeing this?

Fake tag..No doubt about it. Gotta love the way some unscrupulous folks attempt to "weather" them.

Good job man. I will retract my bid and tell ebay about this. Should I? Should this be reported?

On the other hand the vins match the parts. Restampings? Was the original tag to bad to use and he got another?

I dont have the db necessary to give a yes/no on stampings, and the pics provided in the ad arent that great. I have my doubts.

Rear bumper guards are wrong for a Z.

Compare to other trim tags. The BDY and PNT lines are "bent" are they that way on other 69's? I don't think mine is. With todays CNC mills it would not be too hard to engrave a steel block, then make a tag, you could probably hit the tag with a mallet and imprint a tag that thin.

well.....it's supposed to be a 6 but it sure does not look like the last number of the stamping which "is" a 6....the pic's sure could be better.
